ACRI seeks Resource Development Associate


The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) seeks a full-time Associate to join the Resource Development department, to manage and grow a portfolio of institutional and private donor accounts. The professional will report directly to the Director of International Relations. Job Description

  • Maintaining and growing a portfolio of institutional and private donor accounts, with a view to generating new income sources for the organization.

  • Handling the full grant cycle for prospective donors, including: identifying prospective donors, cultivating relationships, writing proposals, renewal requests and implementation reports, and ensuring grant compliance.

  • Designing new marketing materials for ACRI's global audience.

  • Responsible for enhancing English-language social media, crafting newsletters, and curating ACRI's English language website.

  • Producing engaging digital and physical events for Israeli and international private donors.

  • Supporting and facilitating crowdfunding campaigns.

  • Building ACRI's community of international private donors, including regular communications and maintaining a Salesforce-based database.

  • Handling some Hebrew to English translation as needed.

  • Handle Executive Director’s international itinerary.

Qualifications

  • Identify personally with ACRI’s mission and strong commitment to human rights

  • Strong English language grant writing and donor communication skills

  • Capacity to prepare high level marketing materials, digital and otherwise

  • Minimum two years of writing experience for institutional and private donors

  • Excellent social media and digital marketing skills

  • Ability to produce engaging fundraising events

  • Familiar with Salesforce, Mailchimp, Wix, Facebook Business, and Twitter.

  • Experience with government grants (EIDHR, MEPI, etc.) or multi-year grants an advantage.

  • Competent to perform Hebrew to English translation

Full time position: 100%

Salary: Depending on experience

Ideal Start Date: April 2021

Location: Three days a week at Tel Aviv office; options for Jerusalem or Nazareth office.
