On July 29, 2021, ACRI, along with partner organizations, published comments on the health chapters within the draft of the Arrangements Law. The comments relate to the implications of the proposed legislative changes specifically on the rights to health and equality in health services, with an emphasis on the need to strengthen the public health system and reduce gaps in access to health services between the center and periphery of the country.
Among the issues we addressed:
Licensing private operating rooms and clinics
Accounting regulations between health funds and the hospitals
Regulations for health corporations’ operations
Referrals to specialist physicians
Collection of levies for the use of private medical services
Promoting a healthy lifestyle
